So it's been a LONG time since we've had a lan party and I was thinking about having one.

There's a few new games out since the last lanparty and I'm ready to whoop up on ya'll!

Since our lan parties have shrunk in size over the years, games like Left 4 Dead are PERFECT for our needs.

So what are your thoughts, comments, suggestions?

Enemy Territory: Quake Wars pits the armies of Earth against the invading alien Strogg in an online strategic shooter. Players choose to battle as one of five unique classes in either the EDF (Earth Defense Force -- humans) or the barbaric alien Strogg armies. Troops use 40+ conventional and futuristic vehicles, deployable structures, and defense systems like quad-bikes, tanks, and alien walkers for epic ground assaults; or helicopters and anti-gravity ships to lend firepower from the air. Throughout each battle, teams establish bases, deploy defense structures, artillery, radar, and advanced forward-command systems into enemy territory while constructing and demolishing obstacles to speed progress and gain a tactical advantage over the enemy.

Everyone out there playing their shiny new Orange Box needs to take a short break from practicing TF2 and play Portal. Seriously, this game is flat ass awesome - and the end sequence is one of the best I've ever seen!

I'm sure everyone knows about F.E.A.R. by now. I personally haven't purchased it, mostly because I heard the story for single player was a bit weak - and I've got better things to spend $50 on than weak single player. But guess what? Now you don't need to spend the $50 to FRAG IT UP on the Internet/LAN!!!

That's right, campers, F.E.A.R.'s multiplayer componant is now FREE!!!

All you need to do is download the 1.8Gb client (We can't post it on our site due to redistribution limitations). You can download it from File Planet, or directly from VU Games.

After/while/before downloading, you'll need to register for a free multiplayer-only CD key at http://www.joinfear.com/.

Click The "read more" link, to see the system requirements for F.E.A.R., and make sure you can run it before downloading 1.8Gb!

If you can't download 1.8Gb, please send me an email or something, and I can burn a DVD for you.
