What to Bring?
Please put your name on any equipment that you bring (including CD-ROM discs).
- Your beverage of choice. Bringing enough to share is appreciated!
- A snack food of some sort like chips, veggies, etc. (anything extra is appreciated!)
- Camera (your digital pictures can be posted on the web)
- Extra PC?
- Your computer, mouse, keyboard, joystick and monitor
- Windows networking installed and configured (see PC Setup below)
- Power strip with power cords
- Headphones, microphone, NO SPEAKERS
- Working network card with original drivers readily available
- CD's of your games etc.
PC Setup:
The following describes how your PC would ideally be configured before ariving to the party:
- Working 10 or 100BaseT network card with driver properly installed
- TCP/IP Installed and set to the Microsoft defaults (DHCP is used for addressing)
- If you have NetBEUI installed please disable/uninstall it (clogs the network up)
- Turn off all Proxy (WinGate, Sygate, WinProxy, Avirt) or DHCP software (anything that might hand out IP address) before connecting to the network.
- All the games that you want to play installed and configured with the latest patches
